Annual Tea workshop for the Japanese Language, Art, and Design students from the Calhoun. All students are very polite and eager to learn. They are very creative. Their questions mostly fall into the "How do you make?" category. @ Globus Washitsu
Each student presented questions. 1. What kind of kiln makes this tea bowl?
2. How long does it take to build a tea house?
3. What is the purpose of the "FUTAI 風帯”？
4. How are the sweets made?
5. Where can you buy Matcha?
Hatsugama at Murasaki-an. Ryurei style in the living room for Koicha and the table style in the dining room for Usucha. Tea gathering could be without a traditional tea room. All guests could enjoy for the extraordinary tea setting. the guests may be more comfortable without SEIZA. 今年の自宅での初釜 は、立礼で濃茶。テーブルセッティングで茶箱。 たまには変わっていて面白いと思う。 茶室がなくてもお茶でおもてなし。足が痛くないという特典付き。 January 13, 2018 Hatsatugama At Murasaki -An Kaiki Tea Ceremony Record Shikishi
