Tea ceremony workshop at Rudolf Steiner School NYC
I was invited to teach Japanese culture through the tea ceremony. Steiner school is one of the best education systems for an earlier age. All of the students were very polite and understand the meaning of "WA KEI SEI JYAKU" They enjoyed making tea by themselves and tasted real Matcha (not Matcha latte).
マンハッタンUpper Eastのシュタイナースクールの国際学習の一環として、茶道を通して日本の文化の紹介の講師として招かれました。 シュタイナーメソッドは、公とは異なった独自の芸術教育を行なっています。それゆえ芸術、音楽、建築、農業、医学などの多方面で活躍する方を産み出している学校です。 学生さんたちは皆とても礼儀正しく、ワークショップの最後には、和敬清寂をしっかり理解しているようでした。
お茶碗をすすいで、拭いて、お茶を点て、飲み、片付けるところまで体験していただきました。
